The National President of the Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC), Mc Cham Jr. has said that NPP’s interim executive is “not a winning team”.
“This is not a winning team. They cannot push anything because, if you look at the likes of Demba Sabally, he was a party chairman and right now he is demoted as the party deputy chairman,” he said.
The politician observed that the likes of Seedy Njie should not be given the position of assistant spokesperson.
“Whenever Seedy Njie talks, he makes people angry. Many Gambians don’t like him. So, anyone that should be given that kind of position, should be someone whom when he speaks, everyone will listen,” Mc Cham Jr observed.
He also said that the NPP members such as Essa Dampha should not have been left out of the party’s executive because they were involved in the formation of the party from day one.
MC Cham Jr. is the National President of the opposition Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC).
