GANU Leader At The Somita Meeting

The leader of Gambia Alliance for National Unity (GANU), Sheikh Tijan Hydra who recently formed an alliance with a faction APRC party has prayed for The Gambia not to have another president like Barrow.
“May God Forbid for us to have another president like Adama Barrow. All Gambians should have this in mind that on December 4th we should remove Adama Barrow. It’s clear to everyone that Adama Barrow cannot handle this country. He destroyed all the work we did for 22 years. If people are going in front, he goes back. Then why show we empower him? I have nothing personal against him. But my problem is, should he sit-down and watch Gambians suffer?” he told his supporters in Foni Somita.
Sheikh Tijan Hydra was speaking in Foni Sukuta where many GANU and ‘APRC No Alliance Movement’ supporters converged on Sunday afternoon; following pronouncement by former President Jammeh that the APRC should align with the GANU for the 4th December presidential election.
