In a latter shared with Kerr Fatou, the Gambia Action party rejected the resignation of its National President, Mr. Tamsir M. Jasseh who tendered to the party his resignation on 11th March.
“I write on behalf of the National Executive Committee of the Gambia Action party to reject your resignation letter in connection of your exit from the party,” GAP wrote in response to Jasseh.
The party further stated in the letter that Mr. Jasseh is still its National President.
“By this letter, we still recognise you as the National President of GAP as determined by the outcome of the National Congress, a decision we still respect,” the letter concluded.
Subsequently, another letter shared by the party (GAP), indicated that Mr Tamsir M. Jasseh has rescinded his resignation, after a rejection of it.
