The aggrieved Deputy Governor of the West Coast Region, Musa Suso, told Kerr Fatou that he has accepted the recent apology extended to him by the opposition United Democratic Party.

Asked whether he has accepted the party’s apology, Musa replied in the affirmative, but advised the party to always verify information given to them.

“Yes, I take it in good faith because they (UDP) have admitted that it was not me. So as far as they have admitted, I have taken it in good faith. It’s not about him (Darboe). It’s about the people who gave him information. For the last six months I have not visited any Police Station apart from when I went to Sanyang. When I heard the news, I was shocked and disappointed by a big party like UDP. There is a huge respect between us UDP Leader and I. Let them always verify the information that is given to them,” Suso said.

The Secretary General and Party leader of opposition United Democratic Party UDP Lawyer Ousainou Darboe has accused the Deputy Governor of going to the police station when the UDP vehicle was caught with suspected cannabis.

However, UDP later through its Spokesperson Almamy Fanding Taal apologised to Sus on Kerr Fatou’s weekly show ‘Politic Kaacha’ on Tuesday saying they mistook another person for Musa.
